Mog Griffin is an emerging artist working in East London. Growing up on the Isle of Man and spending their undergrad immersed in the Greek Classics, they have spend a lifetime working with myth. The stories we tell and how they shape us, run throughout their practice.
Working across painting, sculpture and installation they transform invisible narratives that entangle our bodies into phenomenological experience, exploring themes of movement, memory, myth and metalepsis through a queer neo-cubist lens.
Bolton wrote of their work at Corpus (2025):
“Melancholia Beyond Mobility’ functions to transcend its immobility; its painful ambivalence follows you so soon as your back becomes turned. its enigmatic mark remained impressed long after visiting.”
They are also a cartoonist, illustrator and zinester in partnership with The People’s Letters (Bethnal Green) and The VOID Project (Ilford).
